Complete the four blue jewels and place them in the altars on your farm to unlock the Buggy and Ranch (in the storage area).
A set of Orange, Purple or Green Jewels in a field adds 20% to the shipping value of any crop grown within their influence. Use the Mother's Touch to harvest crops to add another 10% to the shipping value.
Stand in the Spa (the pool of hot water near the cave) to restore PP at a faster rate.
As soon as you purchase a animal from the World Ranch, you can go to Jonathan and speak to him to obtain the next Robot Animal Helper. The animal not need to have been delivered to the farm yet. However, Jonathan will assume that you already have the animal in use and will proceed to tell you that he will send the next type of Automatic Animal, unlocking the option to purchase that type of animal from the World Farm.
watering can : just till a square of soil and you can water that square once with the can. Note that the item strange moss prevents you from watering the affected square daily, so use this exploit on squares that are virgin.
Hammer & Hoe: there is an exploit to use them on a single square so long as your character has PP to spare. Use the hoe to till a square then use the hammer to untill the square. Go back to using the hoe and repeat. All this can be repeated so long as you have PP.
To gain a better Watering Can early in the game, simply water every tilled square (with or without crops on them) until your character reaches Level 2. Speak to Masami afterwards and she will give you a Weird Watering Can that can water 3 squares at a time. TADA!
