Better Chances of Recruiting Pokemon

Have your team leader hold an Amber Tear, Friend Bow, or Golden Mask.

The Amber Tear and Golden Mask are the best items to use as they increase the chances of recruitment the most, however they are difficult to obtain as they are found within the tough Zero Isle North and West dungeons.
