A1:

If your chao is still a chao it takes about 2 - 3 hours to evolve. if your chao has already evolved it'll live for about 15 hours and then it'll either die or reincarnate.
P.S. - your chao will probably do one of the 2 things above if it's sleeping a lot

Feed it all 21 animals and it should evolve into its last form.

What you need to do is if you whant a hero chao you treat it with good people and feed it with them fore about 1 day or so. If dark same thing but with dark people. If nuetral chao then just feed with both but dont let it get to dark or to light or it wont be nuetral.

A4:

Mine took only one day to evovle. I fed it a lot with friuts from the normal choa garden and the dark garden. Petting it helps and do a lot of missions or stages or watev and make sure to feed them what you get to raise there levels.

A5:

Normally, it takes about 2-3 hours for Chao to evolve. Remember, if your Chao does sleep a lot, it is actually a good thing, since usually, when it has slept enough and it wakes up, it'll evolve. Also, remember to feed your Chao and pet it a lot. Petting does help when trying to make your Chao evolve.

As for first, you'll need the pumpkin. Use Knuckles or Rouge and go to the Chao Garden and dig around. When you've found a pumpkin, give it to the Chao who you want to wear the it. However, sometimes the Chao simply doesn't want to wear it.

*Note* If you want to take the pumpkin off the Chao's head, you'll have to throw the Chao against a wall or you have to attack it. The Chao won't like you so much as before, though, and the Chao might even get a headache. -Answer by:RipperRoo

Use Knuckles or Rouge to dig in any garden and you will find a skelaton or a pumpkin. grab the item and give it to yer chao. If yer chao does not put it on, go to pumpkin hil with knuckles and find a skeleton puppy. Give the skeleton puppy to yer chao ( it will take away all animals so be careful ) and from then on it will put things on its head. This also works with eggshells.

Get the pumpkin by digging with rouge or knuckles in the chao garden or the hero garden then just give it to your chao and see if he like it...

Well you can get a sonic chao by getting a chao, give it only green chaos drives(no animals) and it has to be a neutral chao(can get it by petting with good and bad sides.).

I have a shadow chao. You just need to give a regular chao green chaos drives (easiest way to get them is Iron Gate) and take care of it with shadow ONLY. You should get its running up to lv 24 or when its body turns green and the ball on its head is deep purple. When it evolves it should look like shadow with green stripes. -Answer by:vickmc8

Choose the right stats, such as running for sonic and shadow, and evolve that chao. Neutral chao can be sonic and dark chao can be shadow. Dont be scared you did something wrong if yer chao evolves and it is a green shadow. This is supposed to happen. Wait till the second evolution and it will be red and black like shadow.

Sonic chao: give ti a bunch of chettas, make it a nutral run type. once it evolves use skelton dogs to get rid of the animal parts. let it rencarnate , and on its second life, do the same thing thing. if you dont want youre chao to have animal parts, use the skelton dog.

Well first of all, you cant get a Amy Chao. To get a Sonic Chao, you have to give it a lot of green chaos drives and it has to be Neutral (you have to care for it with Sonic and Shadow).
I honestly don't know how to get a Tails Chao or a Shadow Chao. Sorry.
