| Get a zubat or a golbat and train it till it gets the move mean look and alot of speed then use mean look on it and it wont be able to escape so you'll have all the time you need to throw pokeballs at it or damage it enough to catch it. |

| Raise a scyther to level 40 it should try to learn false swipe before it reaches lv40 let it learn it. then put alot of carbos its speed then should be 112 wich is higher then the dogs speed. then equip scyther with quick law to get the first move. attack the dog with false swipe as many times as possible to get its hp to 1 point (dont worry false swipe always leaves 1 hp on the dogs. after that try cacthing it . it should be alot easier. also try a freindly ball on it . it worked for me on entei |

| Another easy way is if you have 2 Gold/Silver/Crystal packs with Mystery gift. After Mystery Gifting with someone, they will be the person you fight in the battle house in Viridian. With this in mind, catch a Smeargle. They can "sketch" any move. The next time you mystery gift, make sure the person you gift with has a Parasect with Spore (it will ALWAYS make the enemy fall asleep), a creature with Spider Web or Mean Look, and a creature with False Swipe. Bring your Smeargle to the battle house in Viridian City, and have it sketch all of these moves. Raise it until its speed is at least 120. Then, fight the legendary dogs, and use Spore as your first move, then Spider Web. Continue to False Swipe them to 1 HP, and throw Fast Balls for all you're worth. If they wake up, try and use Spore again before they Roar you away. And for quick reference, Smeargle gains a new Sketch every 10 levels after level 11. (IE: level 21, 31, 41, etc.), and you can only have one Sketch as an attack at a time. Use the other to copy a move, or it won't learn a new one. |

| To get the medicine, go to the pokemon center of the city the lighthouse is in (I forgot the city name), walk down and use surf (you can get this TM by defeating all the trainers in one of the brown houses in the Ecrutek City, make sure you talk to the guy in blue). Keep surfing south until you can surf west, keep surfing west and eventually you'll reach the fifth gym city. There are a few mini houses in that island city, make sure you go through all of them and talk to everyone in those houses (I forgot which one), one of them a person will give you the medicine, then, beat the fifth gym, talk to the girl outside of it and she will give u TM fly, fly back to the lighthouse and give the medicine to Jasmine, she will return to her gym and you will be able to battle her. Note: Her Pokemon: Magnetmite Lvl: 30, Magnetmite Lvl: 30, Steelix Lvl: 35, make sure you have fire pokemon with you! |

After you get there, go the way down to the bottom of the town and go into the building iwth the sign next to it. This is the Poke Mart. Talk to the guy iwth the glasses and at the end of your conversation, he will give you what is called the "SECRETPOTION." Take that back to Jasmine the Ampharos in the lighthouse. It would be to your best interest to defeat the gym while you are there. To beat the gym, you will need mainly Psychic& Flying, and Water-types over level 26. |

| Happiness is when your pokemon trusts you very well. In order for that you mustn't let your pokemon die, the more they die the less they will dislike you and the less chance of them involving to an Espeon or an Umbreon. To get an Espeon, get Eevee and give it EXP Share. Go through the Elite Four with your strongest pokemon. Continue doing this untill your Eevee is above level 42, in the day time, your Eevee evolves to an Espeon, in the night, your Eevee evolves to an Umbreon. Make sure your Eevee trusts you very well for this to happen. If you want to know how well your pokemon are treating you, go talk to a girl in Goldenrod City (forgot where), and she will tell you how much your pokemon trusts you. |

| Your best bet is to get an Eevee, and put it in the Daycare center with a Ditto. Go out and talk to the pokemon. If they show interest in, are friendly with, or seem to care for eachother, you will eventually get an egg. Hatch the egg into an Eevee, and give it lots of items like Iron and Carbos. Also, get it groomed by Blue's sister in Pallet town, and give it haircuts in the underground city. To see how much the pokemon likes you, put it first in your party and go to the house south of the Goldenrod gym. The lady will tell you how much your pokemon likes you. For friendly evolution, you need AT LEAST "I get the feeling that it really trusts you". The next time it gains a level, it will evolve. |

| Some pokemon need happiness to evolve. To make pokemon happy, do the following:
1. Keep your pokemon in your party and train it.
2. Give your pokemon lots of stat increasing items.(carbos,protein,etc.)

5. Don't feed it stuff that is bitter.(energy root, ect.)
If you do this, all at once, your pokemon should evolve.
