Q: How do i adopt a pet?

A1: You call a cab to old town and go to pet paradise you should figure it out from there

A2: Well first, go to downtown view, then at the top of the screen, click on show pet shops. If there are any arrows pointing to places, go to that place if it shows no arrows, try old town but im perty sure it will wor on downtown. Now when u go to that place. It will have animals inside of it. Go up to the one u want, then click on it, then go to the option buy____(whatever animal it is) Then just sit back and watch the action.

A3: Call a cab and go to old town and win the cab gets here go get in it and go to pet paradise. and select the pet cage and select bye pet.

A4: U need to go to old town click on show pet adoption centres got to the place with the arrow over it choose wot u wont to adopt.

A5: Well I went into the pet shop but I clicked the dog and it just said:play with dog

A6: When I went there it just said play with the dog and cat but it wouldnt let me buy it how can I buy it?

A7: You have to get $399 first

Q: Im starting to become famous iv got two stars but I dont know how to make freinds with more than one star the first star heared me sing and I talked to her and we became freinds but no one else will lisson?

A1: Look on the whos hot list and try and find them... but other than that talk and say hi to anyone and eyeryone you meet because the more friends the better and since people constalinly climb the scoial ladder one of you friend might become famous and give you more starpower

A2: His has alredy been answered. Buy 3 diomond rings + give them to the person you wish to befriend. I don't Know where to get the ing, im gunna ask that.

Q: I have windows vista and when I play the sims it will not let me save and if I go on the shuttle it will freeze. Does anyone know how to fix that?

A1: First make a shortcut of the game on you PC, to do that go to all programs and then Maxis then click on the sims and drag it to the screen. then when it becomes a shortcut, right click on it and click the option that says run as administrator then you will be able to save when your playing and go to magic town and all those other places.

A2: Like the comment before mine but instead of going to administration go into properties, the compatibility check to box beside where it says windows xp service pack 2. I also had the problem on vista. a lot of programs you will have to do this with I found.

A3: Best Advise is to get rid of Windows vista. If you cant do it yourself hire a professional to remove vista and install another windows such as XP. This is based solely on my opinion. Windows Vista is not a good program.

A4: Get rid of Windows Vista! Its evil! Microsoft have tried to use Vista to get rid of al other forms of competition! Youll find a lot of programs wont work on Vista! Any discs you burn wont work on anything other than XP orVista! Microsoft have gotten really bad!

A5: Efore you go and get all extreme on Vista- Do not Downgrade it on a computer that was sold with it on there. The INTERNAL stuff in the computer is built specifically for Vista, so if you put XP on it, you won't be able to use the disk drive and usb ports. Next thing you should do is this: -Right click on The Sims shortcut, wherever you have it -select properties -Check the box for Compatability mode (be sure the drop down menu says XP) -also check the box that says run as administrator. It will get annoying having to allow it every time you want to play, but not as bad as losing 4 hours of game time.

Q: My sims are at 100 on both sides and everytime I click possite kiss the book dosen,t show up asking should I have a baby and I am in a great mood? please help!

A1: Try a diffrent kiss

A2: Get a vibration bed and play in bed a couple of times, then get their moods up. Make sure you keep repeating this, including passionate kisses. You should then either have a baby, or get a phone call from the adoption agency. -Answer by:bubblishous9

A3: You should try the passionate kisses. You can also get the heart hottub, make one sim go in it, have the other sim join, and then click play. the tub starts bubbling up and they're underneath.

Q: How do you find dragon scales. i want to make my children grow up!?

A1: Well, you can't make your kids grow up at least I don't think but, you can buy a drangon nest, with an egg, from there (but if if dosen't have that option, try back later or get more magic coins) and when the egg hatches, groom the dragon and usually there will be a jar on the ground and that is dragon scales

A1: You go to studio town and in the instruction booklet it says the things to do there when you have certain amounts of stars.

A2: My sims always get 2 grumpy then I just give up, evict them and move them back in again (wen they move 2 a house they r happy) and start again.

Q: I have been lately having an issue with guests. When the are invited over, they appear in the very corner of the map. They cannot be click on to greet or anything, as if they are not actually at your house and just merely standing there, but when you try to invite them again, it says they are already there. Why won't they come to my door anymore?

A1: Maybe they decide they don't like u?

A2: Maybe they are dying there or it's because your having a party.

A3: This means that something is blocking them.

A4: Make sure that they have a clear path to your house

A5: Make sure nothing is blocking their way and you can't greet them unless they ring you doorbell

A6: It happened to me. just evict your family and start again thats wat I done lol

A7: Ike the others said, something is blocking them. Try another house or another family. Also, you cant greet them untill they are in your land.

A8: Just move them onto your land by using the move objects cheat, oh and you cant greet them until they ring the door bell

A9: Did you delet your mail box

A10: Well if you deleted your sim and brought it back to life the they will just stand there so delete them and reinvite them

Q: Can you have Twins, or if not how do you have a baby and have another one agian soon after? Please Help

A1: No you cant have twins to have a baby make 2 sims kiss until a box comes up asking you if you want them to have a baby you have to have that baby grow up then just do the same thing it might take a while or if you have single sims they can adopt a baby just wait for someone to call and ask if you want a baby

A2: You can't have twins and you can't have 2 baby's at once. After your baby has grown to be a child then you can do some romantic stuff while the child is at school and then you will always have to answer the phone and if your sims have played in bed for 30 seconds while you watch they problly will have a baby.

Q: How do I become friends with a famous person!?

A1: Its hard really, but you need to be a bit famous for that or be friends with them before they strike big. I was married to someone who was #1 on the Who's hot thing. And I've been on Who's hot and on the magazine and people made a lollipop shaped of my head once. It's cool to be famous!

A2: First meet the person then buy six dimond rings for them to be in love with you. when thier love with you kind of take it slow but dont try to rush because last time I tried that and they just said bye. but if you want them to be your friend bye three dimond rings

A3: THIS ONLY WORKS IF YOU ALSO HAVE SIMS MAKIN MAGIC! First, you need to unlock the relationship boost spell and charge your wand. If you don't know which one that is, you need 2 honey and 1 pixie dust. add those in the wand charger to get the spell. Then go to studio town. Some stars you can't talk to right away. Find one you can talk to and greet them. Talk to them once and then go home. When you get home, call them and invite them over. When they come over, greet them and then cast the spell.

A4: Argh! i cant get diamond rings! just wait till 1 of dem talks 2 you + then talk about interests until it say "congratulations! you just made a new family friend!" then talk a bit more 2 keep them friends for longer + your done!

Q: I have the sims complete collection it came with 4 discs how do I get to the second dics it wont let me install it?

A1: This happend to me, except it was the 4th disc! I contated EA but they didn't help. So just keep on trying on the same day then wait about 2-3 months and then install it. It should work.

A2: I had this problem too..... When I contacted EA Games they walked me through it and what I had to do was after you insert the first disc and it down loads then wait about a minute or two then insert the second disc and so on. Apparently if you do it too fast the computers auto run doesn't fully read the disc. HTH!

A3: I had this problem. My mate got the sims last year and gave it to me this year for chrismas because she got The Sims 2 (STINGY!) And I had to clean all the disks, because they all had fingerprints and scratches on them. The disks have to be absolutely pristine to work!

Q: My baby got token away they got in the room but the couldm't get out then they disapered with my baby! How did that happened?

A1: First you type in move_objects on after you get the phone call about the people coming to get your baby.Then you wait till she gets in the house and go to buy mode and click on her and then click delete on your keyboard and tadddda...she's gone and your attamatically have another baby...She didn't the baby away it's sum weird thing the game automatically does.

A2: If the sim city social services comes to take your baby away, do these 3 simple steps! 1)type in control+shift+c all at once. 2)when blue box appears in top left hand corner, type move_objects on 3)the click on the woman taking your baby away and delete her! =) -Answer by:bubblishous9

A3: That happened to me too. After a while of walking around the room, the social worker gets tired and just teleports out of there. If she comes and you still want your baby, do these 3 things. 1)type in shift+control+c all at the same time. 2)type in move_objects on 3)click on the social worker and delete her! =) bubblishous9 -Answer by:bubblishous9

A4: They will eventually just dissaper becaouse I tried it. I put my baby in a room ith no doors and somehow the social worker got in and out oif the room! I guess its just the game that does it.

A5: If you have no doors on your house then the worker wont be able 2 get in. also, if you dont likr the gender of your baby do this: 1. click on the baby cradle when the baby is crying. 2. select feed baby 3. click contol-shift-c 4. in the box in the top left hand corner type in the move_objects on code and hit enter 5. go to buy mode and click on the person feeding the baby 6. delete that person, when yyou go back 2 live mode click on the littlle picture of the person wich shud have a little red circle with an x in it. 7. the baby will be reborn and you can choose a new name 8. if you get the same gender do it again after a few hours IF IT DOESNT WORK SRY! IT WORKED FOR MEE.

A6: If you lock the social worker in a room with the baby trying to stop her taking the baby, she will still take the baby. Maxis did that so people wouldnt kill social workers or keep babies they wernt allowed to keep.

A1: I dont know about the faces but if you call a cab a nd select to go to explore old town the 2 things will pop up the first is to okay the call then when the shuttle comes click okay again then select 70 elm street or pet paradise and click on the case with the animal you want and adopt him

Q: What happens if sim dies?

A1: If they are the only ones who live there,the house will automatically go up for sale.and if someone else lives there the ghost will haunt them.and if they have pets the house won't go up for sale until the pets die too.

A2: I made a sim family and put them all in seperate cages until they died (i'm nice like that :D ) and their graves stayed there and the ghosts came out on alternate nights. SPOOKY!

Q: How do I get starpower?

A1: OK, well get at lest one charisma point then get an agent then on the same day you get an agent go to studio town. Go to the place in the middle + go through the middle isle until you get to a little room with a stage. perform on the stage for a while and pose for paperazzi pictures. (if you go on stage, the more people who have a thought bubble with your head in it,which means they are tipping you, the more money you get.)

Q: How do I get the ingredients for the brick oven and the wine nectar?

A1: Buy a cook book and it will tell all the ingredients neccesary to make a specific item, then if you are missing those ingredients from your inventory go to magic town and buy them from the vendors.

A2: Go to magictown and there will be baking mix,sugar,elderberries,butter,honey. etc. or you can just plant the elderberry/grapevine spring and have as many elderberries and grapes you want. ( the ingredients cost simoliens not magicoins)

Q: I can't get sims 1 downloads to run on windows vista?

A1: Many stuff can't be put on windows vista.The sims can't be put on because it wasn't made to go on windows vista

A2: I have sims on vista, you need to install first then create a shortcut for sims, right click on the shortcut go into properties, theres a tab saying compatibility, change compatibility to windows xp and make sure that you run sims as the administator and only use the shortcut to play the game. if you have problems saving like I did then go to www.thesims.com and click on help. it will tell you everything there. xxx

A3: Windows vista is too new for this game, it won't work because that is what my mom has and I was trying to get it to work and read the info and vista was a couple years newer than sims complete collection, so it won't work Sorry!

Q: My two sims are in love but now if I try to get them to talk it says "sorry no actions available" when I click on the other sim. How do I fix this?

A1: You might need to make them hate each other and start all over with their relationship

A2: I noticed this and just kept using the other sim to make the actions eventually it fixed itself also it may have been because coz I left the house and came back again try this good luck

A3: Gust wait till they finish what there doing and have another go!

A4: I've had the same problem with 2 different couples, it's always the husband. I've actualy had one time where I tried getting them to interact but the only option I had available for the husband was Scold or Prais..... not sure, sounds like he turned into a dog or something. Either way, I just keep using the other sim to make the interaction, problem still hasnt went away, my sims had at least 3 kids each time when it started......

A5: I have same prob twice and the only way I have fixed it is by moving house everytime they wont interact

Q: What is the easyest way to make magicoins? a cheat code?

A1: The easiest way is to go to magic town and perform card tricks. Make sure to build up your creativy and logic. That will help as well. There is another way.. but it takes too long.

A2: Any cheat code I have used don't work, so the best way I thought of making Magi-Coins is to boost up my Logic on a sim, 8-10 should do, this way when you go to Magic Town you can use the performer thing and each time you perform; Magic-Storm, Spectral Spouses or the Mummy one, you will get 25 magic coins each, if you spend awhile here, you can get up to 450-500 Magi-coins in 1 (sim) day. Make sure your sim has full Bars for Energy, Comfort, Bladder, Heigene and Social. :)

A3: I don't know any good cheats but if you get that magic spell thing and charge ure wand and go to magic town and win a duel ( on the map thing you get after you jump in the hole click magic arenas) you get magicoins that way my brother is good a duels brad is very easy to beat.

A4: All I do is when you move in you get a magic box with 35 magic coins in mystery box just when you get the boc get all the stuff out of it move out evict move back in open box get everything out then evict move back in I got 1k magic coins esy by doing this so I can move in at the magic square place
