I can not seem to pass level one, I have already got the shoe with the plant, got more wallops but the spot im at keeps going in circles!?

I am in level 1, already got the shoe plant, more wallops, but nothing happened when I knocked down the BNL box thing, and I can't seem to get past that area, what do I need to do?

I'm on Level 7 and I'm stuck where you have passengers falling at you with the blue/red floors.  I can make it 3/4 of the way there, but I get stuck once I get to the second pylon I can't seem to make it to the third (last) one. I either get trampled or zapped by the red floors.  Do I need to worry about the time limit or is there plenty of that? Many thanks for your words.
