I cant remember the Expansion pack but there is a reward. Its a phone and you an use that phone to call the grim reaper but the sim(s) has had to of died in the last 24 sim hours. You will have to make a offer to the grim reaper the higher the money the more human like the sim but if you give him hardley any money the sims will come back as a zombie! Hope this helps

I have the sims university expension pack. You need to have the University expension pack or the sims double deluxe. Then the easiest way to bring a sim back to life is to do the shortcut (crtl-shift-c) and type in unlockcareerrewards. Then go to the career rewards section and you should see them all unlocked then scroll until you see the restuction thingy and select that. Bring it into your home area and click on it. It will say call the grim reaper and you select that and you can pay a tiny bit of money and you probaly won't get anything but less money. Pay meadium you will get a zombie. Pay between medium and alot you will end up with a human but somethings will be diffrent. Pay alot and they will come out PER-FEC-TO! Hope I was able to help.

You use the cheat "unlockCareerRewards" then go to the rewards area. Click the resurrect o nomitron and put it on your property. Then you click it, say summon Grim reaper, and pay money to bring someone back. If you don't pay a lot, he will either turn them into a zombie or it won't happen. If you pay over 4,500$, he'll bring them back. It's expensive, but it works.

OK well to bring some one back to life follow all these peoples insturctions but they forgot to add 1 thing and that's to make sure the sims gravestone is on that household lot. But when they come back to life they won't be married or have there children. But if you have pets ep installed you can bring back pets like humans you call the grim reaper and make the offer. But to prevent sims from dying go into the rewards menu and scroll to the very right and select elixer of life. If you want your pets to live find the kibble of life place somewhere so your pets can eat it.(you have to make your sims order them to eat it) -Answer by:Lwis2

To build an apartment I went into an already built one and deleted the whole thing, and then re-built my own. I put in the right doors etc. but when I typed in the cheat box: 'changelotzoning apartmentbase' it came up with a thing saying: 'there is an invlalid apartment on this lot. to fix it, you can revert the lotzoning back to residential and then correct the architecture of your apartments'. But I dont know whats wrong or how to fix it... HELP!?

A1:

Try moving your Download folder from the game's file (I had this same problem, and I had Free Time installed most recently, and I have Windows XP so bear with me, yours might be a little different.)

Right click on the Start button, select "Explore" and go to the drive you installed your latest Sims 2 game on. (for me it's my C drive)

Go to Program Files, EA Games, The Sims 2 Free Time, TSData, Res. In this there should be a folder titled "Downloads". If you open it you'll more than likely see a bunch of icons and things, which is all your custom content (I dunno if it's just objects or not.) Don't do anything just yet, if you opened it go back one level until you're looking at all the folders in Res again.

Open another window using the Explore option when you right click on the Start button, follow the same steps until you get to The Sims 2 Apartment Life (instead of Free Time). Then go into it, into TSData, Res, and THEN:

Drag your downloads folder from Free Time's Res folder (in the first window) to Apartment Life's in the second. If it copies the folder and it's contents, just be patient and let it finish. If there's a Downloads folder in the Free Time window again, go ahead and delete it, it didn't hurt anything on my computer/game and it frees up some memory.

Fire up your game, when the window pops up over the neighborhood selection thing, make sure the ENABLED box has an X in it, then click ok. Enter your neighborhood, enter a lot, and see if your objects are there. If not, close out of the game, then enter it again, making sure ENABLED is checked, then try again. (For some reason my game did this to me).

That should give you your items back. Hope this helps!

Have you enabled custom content, the game disables it when you install a new expansion. I think its in gameplay options. Where is allows to to check/uncheck custom content dialog at start up there will be an icon just below that that you can click on to enable custom content without enabling the dialog. You will need to restart you game for it to reload with the custom content.

You have to go into options and select to allow custom downloads in your game. You also have to select the option that is :not to show the custom content on startup of your game. Then restart

Sounds like a glitch to me.

A2:

I noticed this too. Apperently you can't make furnished apartments. It will keep appliances, and celing lights and smoke detectors, but not chairs, tables, telephones, and table lamps.

It's not a glitch. If you read the game guide (go to ://www.primagames.com/features/sims/results.pperl) it explains why it does that.

It does that in all apartments. I don't know why, but it's a little ridiculous. I guess you would never really move into a fully furnished apartment?

If you want to rent the apartment with furnitures, "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" in neighborhood, move your sim into the lot, hold down the shift key while you click on apartment door and 'rent furnished apartment'.

The game does this normally. To rent a furnished apartment bring up the console by pressing ctrl+shift+c then type "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" without the quotes to enter cheat mode. Make sure that nothing is in your queue, then shift+click on the door to the apartment and a new option will appear to rent furnished select this and all of the furniture will be there. To exit cheat mode bring the console back up and type "boolprop testingcheatsenabled false"

It depends on what you buy the apartment for. It'll delete certain things depending on how much you pay for it. Once you buy it, it makes your apartment value for what it's truly worth. I think it's ridiculous, but that's the way it is.

but if you have the boolprop testingcheats enabled enabled (lol) run straight up to the door, you have to be next to it. and shift-click the door and pick 'rent furnished'.

Ok, I just bought the sims 2 apartment life and I am trying to build my own apartment building..When I first start building Im under residential and then when Im done I use the change lot zoning cheat to make it an apartment..Now I exit the lot and go to neighborrhood so I can see if the cheat worked and I see the green apartment thingy above my newly make apartments but when I scroll over it to see how much the apartments cost and how many are avaible it says $0 - $0 and 0 apartments avaible..Where do I change this?I thought maybe it was because I wasnt using the right doors but when I switched it didnt work and then when I built a new one and used the right doors from the beginning I stil couldnt see a price..
